Quinn Ewers threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns as Texas held off Oregon 34-30 on Saturday at Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium.
Oregon scored twice in the final eight minutes to cut a 14-point deficit to four, but the Longhorns recovered an onside kick and ran out the clock. Ewers completed 69 percent of his passes and added a rushing touchdown.
"We finished," Ewers said. "That is what good teams do."
Texas improved to 6-1 and stays in the Big 12 title race.
